Two Ingredient Valentine’s Dog Treats
This Valentine’s (or galentine’s!) day treat your pup to something they will love. We created these incredibly easy two ingredient dog treats for you to whip up in no time are share with your dog. I mean, the best way to their heart is with some healthy, homemade, treats right? 😉
We had so much fun making these special treats for Navy. They were so incredibly easy and took absolutely no time to throw together. I definitely plan on making these treats for her meals weekly.
Okay, enough rambling. Let’s jump into the treats!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 Strawberries
- 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
- (optional) Splash of water
Directions:
- Slice 3-4 medium sized strawberries into small pieces and add to blender. You can certainly use any blender but we use a Nutri-bullet.
- Add 2 Tablespoons of coconut oil to your blender and a splash of water.
- Blend! It is going to have the consistency of a watered down smoothie.
- Using a spoon, add blended mixture to silicon heart ice cube tray. We found ours at Michael’s, but here is a similar tray.
- Place tray in freezer for approximately 1 hour or until hardened. Pop out and enjoy!
Don’t you think these treats came out so pretty? We love adding these treats to Navy’s breakfast and dinner bowls or just giving them to her as a little snack. However, we do have to be careful she doesn’t carry the treat out of the kitchen. The last thing we want is a big pink stain on our white carpet!
We hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s or “Galentine’s” Day!

6 years agoThose treats are pretty! And so easy to make. Chop, blend, and freeze. My Luke would love these because he enjoys chewing on ice. He comes running when he hears the ice dispenser going.
Alex
6 years ago AUTHORNavy loves chewing on ice too! But she usually just crunches it up. When we add a little flavor to it she will finish it.
