The Easiest Peanut Butter Dog Treats
It’s January 24th, meaning it’s National Peanut Butter Day! To celebrate we are bringing you the absolute easiest dog-friendly peanut butter treat recipe that I know your pup will love.
Now, when I say something is easy, you know it’s easy. We are all about convenience here at Navy Corgi. This recipe seriously took me less than 10 minutes to whip up. After 30 minutes in the oven and 10 minutes of cooling, your dog can enjoy these yummy peanut butter treats.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup warm water
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine dry ingredients in medium sized bowl then add wet ingredients. The mixture will be thick!
- Take a piece of the dough and roll into a 1.5″ ball–don’t be afraid to use your hands! Place each ball 2″ apart on a non-stick baking sheet (we use a silicon baking mat). Flatten each dough ball with a fork, making a cross pattern on the treat.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Let the treats cool for at least 10 minutes before enjoying.
We hope you have a wonderful National Peanut Butter Day! How did you celebrate? We’d love to hear about it!

5 years agoI would make a notation about looking for xylitol in peanut butter (present in low sugar peanut butter) . It can be deadly to dogs at a dosage as little as 0.5 g/ kg
