Holiday Gift Guide 2019: 20+ (Last Minute) Gift Ideas for Dog Owners

Guys, there are less than 5 days left until Christmas! Where does the time go? I know we are very very late to the party, but better late than never right? As dog owners, we wanted to create a list of products we would love to unwrap this year, and also products our pets currently love and enjoy. Because, everyone else waits until the last minute to shop, right? To make things easier for those last minute shoppers like myself, we’ve listed products from Amazon (hopefully you have Prime!) and Chewy.com if you can’t make it into stores.

If you haven’t already, take a look at our 2019 Black Friday pet deals round-up post. We listed more awesome products any pet owner would enjoy.

Matching pajamas: I actually talked about this in our Black Friday pet deals post but matching pajamas with your dog is probably the greatest thing ever created. This year we actually bought two matching sets of holiday themed pajamas for Zach, myself, Duke and Navy. These are such a cute gift idea!

Dog Calendar:  I don’t know about you but I get super excited for every new month when I get to flip the page of my calendar and see a new puppy face right above my desk. The popular Instagram and Twitter account, We Rate Dogs created a day-to-day calendar so you get 365 adorable new puppy faces every single day. Rumor has it that our own little Navy is in this calendar too!

Dog mugs: I am ashamed to admit how many corgi and dog themed mugs we own. We generally pick our mugs up from HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, or Target.

Travel carrier: We posted about our travel carrier once or twice on our Instagram. I swear this is probably one of our most asked questions: where we got our travel bag. Our new favorite bag is from Roverlund. For a mini review, head over to our previous post.

CBD treats: Stressed? Feeling pain? Need to focus? CBD can help…well, for your dog that is.  Earlier this year our absolute favorite company Vital Essentials released their line of hemp treats for dogs. Now, these treats have been in the works for about as long as we’ve been working with Vital Essentials and we’ve been so excited for their release! In fact, Navy is actually featured on a bag of these treats. If you want to save 15% off your order had to petflow.com/NavyCorgi.

Pet odor remover candles:  I love candles. Did you know that there are a line of candles that are specifically designed to mask pet odor?  A candle like this would make an absolutely wonderful gift to any pet owner because let’s be real, pets stink!

Hoover spot and stain remover:  We did a mini review of the new Hoover spot and stain remover over on our Instagram last month. I cannot express to you enough how much of a lifesaver this has been in our house. It is small, compact, and portable, allowing us to target small stains our pups leave for us.

Ruggable gift card: We LOVE Ruggable! These washable rugs are perfect for homes with pets, kids, and high traffic areas. You can use FUNNAVY15 for 15% off your order at Ruggable.

Odor eliminator spray:  I randomly purchased this odor eliminator spray from Kin and Kind a couple months ago. We generally don’t bathe Navy and Duke that often because they really don’t need it. Between washes this spray helps keep Duke and Navy smelling great.

Embark dog DNA kit: Last year we reviewed the Embark DNA kit on Navy. Yes, Navy is a purebred dog so we knew the results would prove she is 100% Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Embark DNA kits test so much more than just what breed a dog is. If you want more information take a look at our full review in our earlier blog post. If you know someone who has a mix or rescue dog, this is such a great gift for them.

Home decor:  A lot of our dog inspired decor has come from HomeGoods or TJ Maxx. I also saw this adorable dishtowel set from Chewy.

Festive toys:  I am a sucker festive themed dog toys. This year I picked up a bunch of adorable holiday toys from HomeGoods, but I also found a bunch on Chewy as well.

Games: How adorable are these dog themed games? I think these would be a great gift for dog lovers.

Holiday themed Treats: These festive treats are perfect stocking stuffers for your dog!

Chuck it ball thrower: Does your dog like to play fetch? Duke and Navy do. This Chuck-it ball thrower is perfect for tossing balls for Duke and Navy to chase after. It helps keep our hands clean too!

Furbo dog camera: We absolutely love our Furbo. I know a Furbo is on the top of many of our friends’ wish lists!

Quality poo bags: You can never have enough poo bags–simple as that!

Pet hair remover: I’ve heard really amazing things about the ChomChom pet hair remover. It picks up hair and dirt off any surface and it is reusable.

Interactive games: Duke and Navy absolutely love their interactive games. We love that these toys keep them busy so we can have some quiet time! Here are a few of our favs: treat ball, beginner puzzle, intermediate puzzle.

Roomba robot vacuum: If you follow us on Instagram you’d know that we are absolutely obsessed with our iRobot Roomba vacuum. We cannot recommend this enough!

A new dog bed: I was scrolling through Nordstrom the other day and found a ton of beautiful dog beds that would fit perfectly into any home.

Framed Photo: A beautifully framed photo is still one of my all-time favorite gifts to receive. Our friends at Framebridge make framing photos incredibly easy. If you don’t have time to frame a photo yourself, a gift card to Framebridge is a great gift idea.

Collar Charms & ID Tags: One of our favorite places to shop for pet ID tags is Rebel Dawg tags. Unfortunately, because their tags are custom made, they don’t make the best gift for last minute shoppers. Here are a few from Nordstrom that we liked: dog dad, dog mom, Santa’s yelper.

Collars, Leashes, Accessories and more!: Nordstrom has some of the most adorable, stylish pet accessories. Let’s just say, if I were to unwrap something from Nordstrom’s pet collection, I would be one happy camper.

Procrastination aside, I am really looking forward to shopping for last minute gifts for my family and friends. As much as I love opening gifts on Christmas morning, I truly enjoy seeing the look on others’ faces when they open their gifts.

Which of these holiday gifts for her dog lovers is your favorite? Let me know in a comment below!

Some of the links in this post are affiliate links and if you click through them to make a purchase I will earn a small commission (treat money for Duke and Navy!).
