FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Navy and Duke’s mouths were watering when we first opened each treat jar. And I can’t blame them! The chews smelled delicious (well, the coconut and pumpkin-flavored ones did. I didn’t quite enjoy the salmon smell).

Navy is pretty picky when it comes to trying new food. She doesn’t really like to deviate from the norm. So I was surprised that she eagerly took the RELAX chew from my hand and promptly scarfed it down. Duke has no reservations when trying something new, so I knew he would love trying Green Gruff.

The chews are definitely softer than I had expected, which I prefer, and I know the dogs like them as well. It makes it easy to crumble them over their meals.

Because these are supplements and not meant to be used as a treat, we wanted to be intentional with what we let Duke and Navy sample. Navy has started to slow down recently. She and Duke play pretty rough! So we gave her an EASE Joint and Hip chew to help her joints and a RELAX Calming chew to help with her overall anxiety.

Duke struggles with itchy skin, especially in the summer, and separation anxiety, so we gave him a RELAX Calming chew and a SOOTHE Skin & Coat chew to try.

FINAL THOUGHTS

We’ve said this before, but when people are looking for something to help their dog with anxiety and stress, or pain and discomfort, they turn to CBD for a ‘quick fix.’ And CBD dog supplements should not be used as a quick fix.
