FAQ

What breed of dog is Navy?

Navy is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.

Is she mixed with something?

No, Navy is not mixed with another breed. She is a purebred Cardigan Welsh Corgi. And yes, we are sure. We met both her parents; both are purebred Cardigan Welsh Corgis… AND we DNA tested her.

Where did you get Navy? What breeder is she from?

Lucky for you we have an entire post on where we found Navy. Please feel free to give it a read and if you have any questions, leave a comment on that post.

How did Navy get her name? Is someone in your family in the Navy?

Contrary to popular belief, Navy is named after my favorite color, not the military service. Neither I, nor Zach serve…though we will always choose Navy over Army!

Is Navy a fluffy corgi? Does she shed a lot?

Yes Navy is a fluffy corgi, and no she does not shed a lot. We feed Navy a raw diet and added supplements to keep her coat strong.

How big is Navy? Is she done growing?

Currently Navy is about 20 pounds. Cardigan Corgis can weigh anywhere from 25-35 pounds with females on the lower end of the range. We think Navy will stay at around 20 pounds.

Can we meet Navy?

If our schedules are open, you can certainly meet Navy, she would love that. We are Washington, D.C. based, but if you read our blog, you’d see we like to travel quite a bit. When we do travel we try to arrange a small meetup.

Can you give me a shout out?

Sorry! We do not give shout outs by request nor do we offer paid shout outs. We do love to recognize our online friends who engage with us regularly!

Will you promote my product?
